Our client is a small specialist electronics manufacturing company that produces market leading bespoke products. Due to an increase in demand they are looking to increase their manufacturing capacity. Initially these will be agency temp roles, however there is a likelihood that they will transfer to permanent positions if the demand increase continues.
Regular “days” work Monday to Friday, so 37.5 hours per week.
The work will involve bench assembly of product using basic hand tools followed by functional test, fault rectification, packaging and preparation for dispatch.
These roles will suit people with low volume electronics assembly experience.
The ideal candidate will have:
Ideally some technical qualifications
Background in low volume/high value electronic assembly.
Soldering skills highly advantageous
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and BoMs
Electronic fault-finding skills
