Salary: £30 – 35,000 depending on experience
Job Summary: -
Working hours: 08.00 hrs to 16.30 hrs Monday-Friday
To assist in the maintenance and efficient running of manufacturing equipment and buildings services.
Qualified electrician with experience working in manufacturing, on both electrical and mechanical equipment.
The ability to work in a small team, and under their own supervision to provide maintenance cover on both equipment and services to a high standard.
To work to and develop a planned maintenance schedule covering critical production equipment maintaining high levels of efficiency.
To help in the design and improvement of equipment to continually improve performance and achieve set key performance indicators.
To establish a critical spares system and support the site manager to maintain control on spend within the maintenance department.
The ideal candidate will have: -
Electrical qualified with minimum ONC engineering qualification.
Experience in fault finding on electrical equipment.
The ability to carry out mechanical repairs and maintenance.
Experience in programming and fault finding on PLC systems.
Pneumatic and hydraulic fault finding skills.
Experience working with lean systems especially 5s.
