Job Elements
To work a two shift pattern morning and afternoons.
Fault finding on a variety of production machinery.
To fault find machine breakdowns with a focus on maintaining the machine up-time.
Carry out routine planned maintenance on all factory equipment
Ensure effective operation of planned preventative maintenance system
All problems with equipment via daily reporting on maintenance database system.
Work with continuous Improvement Department on projects improvements.
Assist with external resources on machine repairs/ installations.
Carry out general facilities and office maintenance when required
The ideal candidate will have:
Vocational- technical higher education in engineering (level 4 and 5, HNC, HND)
Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a maintenance environment.
Preferably have experience of working in a fast moving manufacturing environment.
Be multi-skilled, either: Electrical bias with mechanical skills and knowledge, or Mechanical bias with electrical skills and knowledge.
Pneumatic / Hydraulic experience.
Able to cope with multiple tasks and priorities
Be organised to be able to cope with multiple tasks and prioritise quickly
