Systems Analyst role is required to maintain the reliability and security of business systems, providing 2nd line (when required) and 3rd line support to business systems users and customers.
To work with Head of systems and technology to develop systems for business users and customers, analyzing new and current systems and proposing enhancements with the aim to improve business efficiency.
Monitor servers and infrastructure performance
Review the merit/security of change requests to enhance the systems and implement where applicable.
Evaluate and recommend integrations with 4th parties and the benefits to the company.
Evaluate and compile a business case for any additional systems.
Prepare a detailed specification for any proposed solution.
Test any proposed solution to ensure its effectiveness before final implementation.
Assist in the implementation of any new system, taking any remedial action necessary to ensure that it is working effectively.
Provide any necessary documentation and technical support following implementation to end users.
Train users in the new system to ensure that it continues to work effectively and to their satisfaction.
Electronically document all change requests
Ensure ISO 270001, GDPR and IT systems policy and procedure adherence.
Provide 3rd line Application support to users.
Provide 2nd line Application support when required and support IT Technicians as and when required.
The ideal candidate will have:
IT or business degree, or equivalent experience
Evidence of continuous training and personal development
Strong understanding of Microsoft Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
Strong understanding of Azure Active directory
Strong Understanding of Network, Firewall and General Security
Good understanding of Office 365
Good understanding of Exchange online
Good understanding of SharePoint online
