Salary £18.5k basic.
Job Elements: -
Ensure all deliveries have been received and booked in accurately whilst avoiding delays.
Liaise with all internal departments required to resolve delivery issues.
Literate use of all goods in systems required to process deliveries in to stock.
Ensure overstock and normal stock process is managed effectively.
Liaise with logistics administration staff to ensure 100% of despatch requirements are maintained.
Ensure health and safety guidelines are adhered to and raise health and safety concerns to their manager when necessary.
Accountable for accurate and secure record of goods in and out.
Process recyclables and liaise with partners to maintain efficient waste management.
Accurately manage the transfer of stock between the various storage locations.
The ideal candidate will have:
Effective communication skills both verbal and written
Basic computer literacy
Health and safety awareness especially with manual handling techniques
Basic English and Maths
Warehouse and Logistics qualification
Experience of working within a warehouse operation
Experience of goods in function
Experience of using a fork lift/order picker
