·Reporting to the Engineering Mechanical Supervisor.

·This role is a mechanical position, responsible for the maintenance and improvement to the operational efficiency of all asset areas, ensuring regular and efficient maintenance is carried out and problems are solved to the root cause in a safe, effective and timely manner to meet the business needs.

·Working as a Multi-Skilled Technician, you will carry out various tasks utilising Mechanical and some basic electrical disciplines to increase business efficiency and reliability.

·You will be responsible for assisting with preventing reoccurrence of equipment failures by root cause analysis and initiating solutions, ensuring asset performance improvements.

The ideal candidate will have:

·You will have developed good mechanical diagnostic skills and some basic electrical diagnosticabilities. In addition, you must be self-motivated, flexible in your approach to work, and able to demonstrate pro-activeness in your attitude to a team based way of working and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

·The candidate must have a desire to further their knowledge and skills, candidates must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of continuous improvement activities.

·Ideal candidates will be ONC qualified or higher.

·Candidates with significant experience gained in the heavy industry sector is highly preferred.
