Processing customer orders ensuring correct prices are quoted and the right products are delivered to the stated destination per the delivery request.
Develop a close relationship with all customers and suppliers encouraging them to continue a long-term partnership, add value to the business, through appropriate reporting and administration.
Facilitating and coordinating shipments of product, to include ensuring import and export customs clearance is completed according to regulatory guidelines into the EU.
Supporting the activity created by the sales force and the demand created by the customer base, through provision of a world class service to external and internal stakeholders.
Supporting internal systems, acting as the key user in the department for SAP, assisting with system upgrades. Advocating process improvement, change initiatives and standard operating procedure implementation.
The Ideal Candidate will:
Have an outgoing personality, ability to communicate at all levels and discuss the product portfolio with prospective and established customers.
The role would suit someone happy to be making outgoing phone calls, emails and potential face to face meetings.
Ideally a technical background and ability to understand drawings.
Confident user of MRP systems (ideally SAP)
Experience within a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
IT literate
Good communication skills
