£25,000 - £29,500 depending on experience.
Job Elements: -
System-based material planning and definition and maintaining of all relevant levels and order limits for materials.
Preparation of regular demand forecasts for materials/supplies for internal and external stakeholders
Close support, communication and coordination with strategic purchasing as well as other internal and central departments
Support the local process for new materials and suppliers as an interface to strategic purchasing and the suppliers
Local requisition and purchase order management for relevant materials and services.
Searching for problem solutions in case of deviations in quantities, delivery dates or materials
Reporting and analysis of defined KPI’s for the related material management processes to manage continuous improvement
Active participation in projects to improve processes and IT systems in the material management area
The ideal candidate will have:
5 years supply chain, procurement related experience
Degree level in supply chain management, procurement or related discipline
Understanding of manufacturing systems and processes
Knowledge and understanding of inventory management, forecasting and demand management
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Knowledge of French highly desirable
