Job Elements

·Completion of MRP activities, communication of MRP detail to the supply chain and the expediting of material into the factory in line with the ‘due date’ in order to satisfy both internal and external customers.

·Run MRP on a weekly basis.

·Run a daily shortage report and expedite all parts in against due date.

·Discuss / resolve issues with suppliers and escalte to Senior Buyer responsible if component is past due for assistance.

·Resolve all Goods Inwards Queries within 24 hours of notification.

·Undertake obsolescence management.

·Monitor supplier performance, managing any issues where necessary.

The ideal candidate will have:

·Ideally working towards CIPS qualification

·Experience of using MRP systems

·Purchasing Administration and inventory management experience

·Experience gained within a fast moving manufacturing environment
