Responsible for total group P&L’s, from Gross Margin, Cost of Production, opex through to EBITDA
Providing exceptional effective financial planning, management reporting and supporting financial business partnering services.
Leading the knowledge transfer with the team to support business requests in a timely manner.
Driving the delivery of financial targets and holding departments to account for budget targets.
Acting as a gatekeeper in relation to Finance operational expenditure.
Work within the financial governance structure to deliver accurate and insightful results.
Facilitate, sign off monthly, quarterly and 5yr plan consolidated reviews within allocated timescales.
Full ownership for the standard cost process including inventory revaluation and cost flip simulation for the annual Budget process.
Support new business and CI initiatives, evaluating and recommending cost-reduction solutions.
Supporting local grant, CoP, PPV, line investment calculations and variances vs prior plans and forward projections.
Manage and conduct profit and cost analyses and ROI on all new projects, including capex purchases.
Ensure all accounting activities and internal audits comply with financial regulations
Support and analyse financial business cases input and ad hoc requests
The ideal candidate will have:
Conscientious qualified Accountant 3yr + Finance background in a multinational manufacturing environment, including product costing experience
Advanced numerical, reporting and planning skills
Strong analytical skills working with financial IT systems such as; E1, TM1 Excel etc.
Exceptional verbal, written and communication/presentation skills (in English)
Excellent proactive teamwork and organisational skills, working in a cross functional organisation matrix, self-starter, able to work well on their own without supervision on both strategic and operational tasks.
Ability to think "outside the box". Ability to influence and proactively challenge.
