Support EMEA Indirect procurement in daily tactical activities within the EMEA region in close cooperation with global Procurement organization.
The job will involve developing market intelligence, tendering, negotiation, contracting, establishing supplier relationships, supplier performance management and category strategy execution. In addition the associate will provide a procurement service from raising purchase orders to ensuring all invoices are matched and processed appropriately.
To achieve their goals, they will closely collaborate with country business partners as well as with global stakeholders to identify and deliver cost improvements initiatives while maintaining supplier service levels to meet country operational requirements.
Implement new cost reduction initiatives through competitive bids, direct negotiations, process changes, spend analytics and supplier rationalization synergies etc.
Develop collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders including, Global procurement, EMEA country offices, Finance, Human Resources, IT, Legal, and others to share and maintain procurement best practice and to ensure sourcing activities meet the business requirements.
Support efforts to resolve supplier performance issues that negatively impact the business.
The ideal candidate will have:
BTEC National Diploma Business & Finance or equivalent.
3+ years experience in Procurement.
Proactive, self-driven personality with ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, both internally and externally.
Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
Ability to multitask, be precise, pay attention to detail.
Ability to identify and solve contractual, process and operational business challenges.
Ability to build interdependent partnerships.
Project management skills are desirable.
