Job Elements: -
Working shifts, mornings (7am-3pm) and afternoons (2pm-10pm) on a weekly rotation
As part of the quality team, microbiology testing and reporting of raw materials, bulks, intermediate and final product samples.
Moisture testing of components.
Environmental monitoring of manufacturing and testing areas.
Sampling and testing of manufacturing water system.
Routine Bioburden testing of manufactured product
Booking in of samples to microbiology database
Keeping accurate notes and records of all work completed
Assisting the microbiology team with any duties required
The ideal candidate will have:
Microsoft office experience essential (including Excel)
Must have a good understanding of microbiology and associated techniques
A degree in microbiology or a related subject/experience working within a regulated microbiology laboratory
Effective verbal communication to support team working and collaboration
