Job Elements



·As a software tester, you will be involved in the quality assurance stage of software development and deployment.



·You will conduct automated and manual tests to ensure the software & firmware created by developers is fit for purpose.



·You will find bugs and issues within a product before it gets deployed to everyday users.



·Testing in different environments including web and mobile



·Writing bug reports and using bug trackers like Jira & SVN



·Reviewing documentation



·Working towards departmental and project deadlines



The ideal candidate will have:



·Degree in computer Science or IT



·Experience of testing Web, Windows and embedded software is desirable



·Experience with developing embedded firmware or web software



·Experience of writing test routines and using bug tracker tools is desirable
