Job Elements
·Training to become a Technical Engineer where the role includes understanding, analysing and converting the drawings, specifications, Bills of Materials etc to internal specifications.
·Building technical knowledge by researching electronic/mechanical components using various sources.
·Learning how to implement any changes and resolve build standard issues.
·Understanding how to evaluate alternative components and liaising any conflicts to the customers original requirements with customers and suppliers (internal and external) where required.
The ideal candidate will have:
·HNC/HND level in Electrical / Electronic Engineering (Minimum)
·A basic understanding of the following engineering functions:-
o Generating Bills of Material structures within the ERP system.
o Engineering Change control.
o Component Approval.
o Design for Manufacturing activities.
