• Working Double Day Shift (6am-4pm and 1:30pm-9:30pm) the Senior Operations Technician is responsible for carrying out the testing and release of products, in accordance with documented controlled procedures.
• Carry out manufacturing operations in accordance with cGMP and GLP, identifying and recording anomalous observations.
• Operate production equipment or carry out manual operations.
• Carry out routine quality control tests, interpret results and make recommendations for appropriate action.
• Maintain control charts for trend analysis. Understand principles of SPC and the uses of such systems.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and in associated implementation teams.
• Maintain up to date records of all activities and outputs.The ideal candidate will have:
• 5 GCSEs including Maths, and relevant Science or HTEC
• 2-5 years relevant operational experience within a regulated industry.
• Life science industry background preferred
• Laboratory work experience desirable.
• Ability to communicate verbally with all members of the operational team.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
