• The position is for role within the Logistics Group from Goods Inwards, Warehousing, Despatch to Shipping
• To ensure an effective flow of materials from our suppliers into our Manufacturing area and then onto our customers.
• All material movements within the department from raw material into finished goods.
• All associated system transactions from Customs clearance to Goods receipt/Storage/issue to Manufacturing / receipt of finished goods and onward shipment to the Customer
• Continuously improve the operation of the department through regular performance reviews with the Logistics Leader.The ideal candidate will have:
• Several years’ experience in a similar position using SAP
• Significant experience of Warehousing in a Lean manufacturing environment.
• Experience in regulated environments.
• Good basic education (Maths and English to GCSE level or equivalent)
• Goods understanding of Microsoft Office is required to assist in day-to-day duties
• Good working knowledge of SAP within a Logistics environment including Kanban process and problem-solving experience
• Order Picker (WAVE) and Counterbalance Fork truck license preferable
