Job Elements
Shifts – Monday – Friday (6am-2pm, 7am-3pm, 2pm-10pm) and a call out rota once trained
Participate as a member of the multi-skilled Engineering team, working with other departments to improve performance and achieve objectives within a heavy engineering environment.
Setting priorities from shift production teams’ guidance.
Breakdown maintenance.
Significant involvement in project, development and installation work.
Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance.
The ideal candidate will have: -
Timed served apprentice
Minimum ONC, or equivalent qualification
Experience with maintaining production equipment ideally within a heavy industrial environment, preferably metals or chemicals.
Previous experience in a similar role
Previous experience with mobile plant
PLC Systems (preferably Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi)
Instrumentation Systems (Thermocouples, level control, Loop Control)
Inverter drive control
Gas Burner Control Systems
3-phase Overhead Crane Systems
General fault finding & diagnostics skills
