Job Elements
To provide fast and efficient repair of both PCB assemblies and production test equipment
Data collection and analysis of PCB fault
Responsibility for the testing, analysis and processing of factory returns, and maintenance of associated data systems
Design and specification of test equipment
Working with third party supplies to provide test solutions
Maintenance and upgrade of test equipment
Development of software applications for testing
Training operatives in the correct use of test equipment
Creating and maintaining test instructions
Continuous improvement of current test strategies
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience in a repair technician role within an electronics and electromechanical manufacturing environment.
Strong team player
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Quality Tools.
Min: HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
An excellent communicator, well organised, approachable and resilient.
Good practical knowledge Microsoft Office applications
