Job Elements: -- To support the administration of the department to ensure that accurate processes are carried out and recorded in a timely manner and to ensure good communication with internal and external customers and suppliers
- To assist when required the day-to-day activity of the department E-commerce store
- To support the inventory manager in producing work schedules for ongoing workflow
- To support the inventory manager in investigating stock errors and report back the findings
- To assist with maintaining department records in accordance with company policy and procedures
- To deal with telephone and email enquiries
- Maintain department stock databases ensuring sufficient information is available for correct identification
- Monitor customer stock needs ensuring sufficient stock is available to fulfil requests
- To communicate with customers to prevent stock outages for scheduled works
The ideal candidate will have:- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal and able to communicate internally and externally with customers and suppliers
- High standard of computer literacy including Microsoft packages EG. Excel and Word
- Business Administration qualification or qualified by experience
- Experience of working within an office environment
- Experience of working within a database application
- Experience navigating internet via search engines
- Experience with E-commerce websites (i.e. Ebay, Amazon)
