Job Elements
Working 5 day mornings and afternoons shift pattern
The repair and maintenance of complex machinery and modern production equipment and associated plant, supporting Site Services requirements and new equipment/machine installations.
Involvement of all aspects of the site’s electrical maintenance and repair requirements, including mechanical processes, fault-finding and fabrication.
Ability to troubleshoot quickly in a breakdown situation and identify cause of breakdown.
Support the site’s TPM programme.
Liaise and manage third party suppliers and contractors for maintenance and site service areas.
Maintain a safe working environment and good housekeeping practices.
The ideal candidate will have:
Time-served EITB Electrical / Electronic Apprenticeship and/or City & Guilds Part 3 in Electrical Engineering
Knowledge and experience of working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
Experience of working with CNC installations
Previous experience of working with TPM (Total Preventative Maintenance) systems.
Ability to troubleshoot quickly in a breakdown situation and identify cause of breakdown
Previous experience of working in a production/manufacturing environment
IT proficiency.
