Reporting to the Site Leader, this role is responsible for delivering a daily cadence of standard work in support of world-class Health and Safety systems and performance.
Primary focus is to ensure the business is fully compliant will all legislative HS&E requirements in provision of a world-class, safe and engaging work environment.
This position will be responsible for developing a culture of continuously improving safety practices, leading to self-managed teams of safety leaders across all areas of the business.
Create, maintain and manage a rigorous Risk Assessment system
Maintain and improve a robust accident and investigation process
Identify deliver and manage key training, learning and development requirements for all associates
Work collaboratively with all levels of the organisation as well as with external agencies to ensure that the site meets and exceeds all current and future legal requirements
Deliver a world-class fire prevention and evacuation procedure
Use Continuous Improvement tools to identify root causes to key safety and environmental risks
The ideal candidate will have:
As a minimum degree qualified in a relevant discipline – safety, environmental, process, engineering, quality
NEBOSH certification
At least 5 years’ experience working within a manufacturing / production environment
At least 3 years in a senior EHS-focused role
Excellent IT skills on all relevant Microsoft packages
