Job Elements
Receive goods at the loading/receiving dock.
Unload goods from trucks and containers to the highest of standards
Store received goods in the appropriate locations within the warehouse to the highest of standards.
Housekeeping continually to ensure an exceptionally tidy environment.
Check loads for damaged or missing items upon receipt.
Move and rearrange stock, either by hand or with heavy lifting equipment
Keep careful records of everything that comes in and goes out of the warehouse.
Clean the space and ensure that goods do not get damaged.
Pick & pack loads to the highest of standards to ensure no damage during transit.
Load goods onto trucks for shipping to the highest of standards
Undertake stock taking as and when requested.
The ideal candidate will have:
Counterbalance & reach truck experience
IT Skills: For data entry and inventory.
Organizational skills – to organise for maximum efficiency.
Ability to tie loads quickly and securely.
Manual handling required
A self-starter with a high level of energy
Willing to go ‘the extra mile’
