Job Elements: -
Initial 3 month contract working 9.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m Monday to Friday
To repair PC based equipment to ensure a sufficient level of stock is available for field engineers to replace customer equipment as required.
Keep accurate records of customer equipment returned for repair on company database.
Document test and fix procedures.
Investigate fault trends.
Maintain communication with other departments to ensure effective relationships.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience and knowledge of repairing of PCs and or/peripheral hardware within an appropriate industry
Organised and able to prioritise work
Interpersonal skills to work with other departments and team members
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Competent computer user
Knowledge of housekeeping, health and safety standards within an appropriate industrial environment
GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
