Working remotely and from the main office in Swansea, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for:
Assisting the Commercial Director implement the commercial strategy, supporting the commercial readiness of our clients technology.
Providing and promoting a high quality service across all market engagement activities.
Support the identification and prioritization of new clients within the markets served and identify new market opportunities.
Responding to RFIs and proactively identify opportunities.
Working closely with the engineering team to gain a deep understanding of the technology in order to speak fluently and incorporate key messages in marketing materials, aligning with our brand and product vision.
Articulating our value proposition to clients and staying updated with market trends and competitor developments to grow a market leading technology position.
Supporting a wide range of outreach programs by developing innovative and relevant content, and representing the company at face to face events
Managing and maintaining internal processes for developing client relationships.
The ideal candidate will have:
3+ years business development in the energy / renewables / oil & gas or similar sector
Proven track record of generating and converting opportunities into commercial contracts
Strong focus on delivering service quality
3+ years’ experience working across commercial, marketing and technology teams
Understanding of pre-sales commercial activities and associated steps to deliver first sale.
Experience with CRM data entry.
Organised with a strong ability to plan and prioritise under pressure with non-moveable deadlines.
IT literate. Excellent report writing skills.
Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
Valid UK Driving Licence.
