We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join a busy team of 7 multidiscipline engineers providing the manufacturing support to high value, low volume production lines, and deliver NPI in line with the projected growth of the site.
You will be assigned a group of products and be responsible to understand the products, build and test requirements, process flow and systems.
Work closely with the R&D divisions globally in converting a concept idea design into a cost effective / quality product, you will take engineering stewardship of the products when handed over to operations at the appropriate time.
The products you will be responsible for have a very high level of complexity, accuracy and value.
Qualifications and Experience required: -
The role demands an engineer to be creative, analytical, familiar with manufacturing processes and have good CAD skills.
The candidate must have a pro-active approach and work well within multifunctional project teams providing leadership and direction when required
BSc, MSc or equivalent degree in Engineering or Physics is essential
Masters or equivalent advanced degree is preferred
Understanding and practice of Six Sigma methodologies
Minimum 5 years’ experience is sought in an engineering role.
Understanding of and experience in the environments and requirements for both New Product Introduction (NPI) and volume manufacturing of technical assemblies.
Ability to travel internationally according to business needs
