The QC Laboratory Manager has responsibility for the quality control of the products within the laboratories.
The QC Laboratory Manager must ensure GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) is maintained to be sure that testing results guarantee that product supplied to customers is of the highest possible standard.
Team management / development and training
Timely release of stock
Maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
Review of customer testing requirements and integration into the laboratory.
Drive continuous improvement in the laboratories to meet objectives.
Management of non-conformances and reporting. To assist in investigations and facilitate the close outs.
Participation during customer & regulatory audits.
What the company is looking for in the successful candidate:
Degree educated in a science or engineering discipline.
Experience of working in a chemical, microbiological, biological or pharmaceutical laboratory.
Several year’s quality experience in a ‘lean culture’ working environment
Experience in lean manufacturing / continuous improvement techniques & tools 5s, Kaisen etc.
Quality / Auditing experience in a ‘lean culture’ manufacturing environment
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office software
Excellent standard of written English & Math’s
Excellent communication skill & attitude
