Job Elements
The position is for role within the Logistics Group from Goods Inwards, Warehousing, Despatch to Shipping
To ensure an effective flow of materials from our suppliers into our Manufacturing area and then onto our Customers.
All material movements within the department from raw material into finished goods.
All associated system transactions from Customs clearance to Goods receipt/Storage/issue to Manufacturing / receipt of finished goods and onward shipment to the Customer
Ensure that the department operates in a safe manner at all times.
The ideal candidate will have:
Good basic education
Good working knowledge of SAP within a Logistics environment including Kanban process and problem solving experience
Order Picker (WAVE) and Counter Balance Fork truck license preferable
Significant experience of Warehousing in a lean manufacturing environment.
Capable of using standard Microsoft suite of applications to a good level.
