Customer Service and Logistics Representative

Salary: £10.00-£11.50/hr

Job Elements

·Plan and execute the efficient and timely distribution of finished goods from the factory to the customer in accordance with UK, EU and ROtW laws and regulations.

·Co-ordinate all aspects of transport and shipping requirements for finished goods in line with customer expectations.

·Generate all relevant documents for customers and legal compliance for UK, EU and ROtW, including Preparation of Declaration of Origin forms and obtaining Certificates of Shipment from customers as required.

·Take incoming telephone calls and re-direct as necessary/take messages.

·General administrative duties, including filing etc.

The ideal candidate will have:

·Previous experience within the Customer Services or Shipping/Logistics co-ordination function (preferably within a manufacturing environment) is essential.

·Qualification within distribution/logistics advantageous.

·Computer literacy – previous experience of working within an ERP system is a pre-requisite

·A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is also required.

·Excellent communication skills through all levels of the business both written and oral.

·Strong organisational skills.

·Have good numeracy skills for financial management.

·Knowledge of a second language would be desirable but is not essential
